Depending on how your skin is looking you can just use setting powder after. It doesn't give much coverage like a bb or cc cream but it's a great base. I was saving for summer only be cause of the price and didn't want to waste it in winter but my skin got dry this winter trying to find a bb cream that worked so this will be my go to for all seasons. I am light to fair with more yellow undertones (eastern european mix) with an olive skinned Slavic mama and a fair freckled Anglo Saxon dad so I may not be as light as those saying it is too dark but it is natural and doesn't oxidize and turn you orange so that's good. Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Tinted Moisturizer with SPF, Water-Resistant Mineral Sunscreen For Sensitive Skin, 1.7 Fl Oz. You can put it on with your fingers like a moisturizer and blend it in but I use a makeup wedge because otherwise it takes a while to wash the product off my hands because it's waterproof xD the tint is much lighter than other light/medium products and blends nicely giving a glow. This is my favorite especially for summer because it is waterproof and sweatproof but also all year because it is moisturizing and nourishing. I would love to see this made in a slightly lighter shade. Overall seems like a quality product, but definitely not for fair skin tones. I don't want to waste it, so I'm planning to experiment with it as a concealer around my dark undereyes to hopefully brighten them up. My boyfriend who never notices changes in my skin/skincare even pointed this out, to my embarrassment. Unfortunately even just one application of this makes me look like I've gotten a bad spray tan. Benefits Provides mattifying, water-resistant SPF 45 protection with a sheer and shine-free finish that won’t clog pores. It dries quickly, and didn't cake or pill when I reapplied, which I appreciate. Description Mattifying, oil-absorbing sunscreen provides water-resistant, broad-spectrum SPF 45 UVA/UVB protection for oily skin and lightly hydrates without clogging pores. It's a great consistency, feels very nourishing and moisturizing - I think you could even get away with applying this to bare skin, without a base moisturizer underneath. Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 is an all-mineral, water-resistant sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF 45 for sensitive. For years the only tinted one I've been able to use has been Paula's Choice Essential Glow moisturizer spf 30 (gives me a dewy, healthy glow) however I've been wanting to find one with a higher SPF & figured I'd give this a try. I wanted to love this - For background, I have fair skin with a bit of rosiness to my cheeks, and I don't wear makeup, only tinted SPFs.
